Diploma or transcript: which UF record do you need?

A diploma, certificate and transcript are different records. UF has a specific apostille/notarization request process, and an ordinary electronic transcript order should not be assumed to include that preparation. Confirm the record and paper format the recipient needs with UF before paying for a replacement. The student or alumnus must follow the university’s authorization and request rules.

Which costs and preparation stages are separate?

Check the displayed name, awarded degree and grades before ordering. A newly reproduced diploma, notarized school record, state certificate and translation are distinct deliverables. Request an updated school estimate for any replacement and a separate service quote for the remaining work. UF’s electronic diploma is a separate credential product; do not send a printout for apostille without confirming its preparation.

Can a UF CeDiploma replace the paper record?

UF expressly says its electronic credential cannot be printed for security reasons. Its apostille instructions instead request a physical diploma/certificate or a photocopy, depending on what the receiving country requires, together with UF’s Apostille/Notarization request. If you only have a CeDiploma, use UF’s paper-diploma or replacement route before asking the registrar to prepare the record. Online validation of a CeDiploma and Florida’s apostille are separate functions; ask whether the recipient accepts the verified digital credential directly before ordering additional preparation.

Need help obtaining your U.S. diploma or transcript?

We can coordinate with your school, arrange receipt of official records in the U.S., and organize the appropriate apostille and delivery. Start with an individual quote for the work your case requires.

  • School communication and official-record request coordination with your authorization
  • Receipt, preparation coordination and U.S. shipping included as specified in your quote
  • Apostille handling, with optional translation and international delivery

Your school issues the records and controls release requirements. Your participation or signed authorization may be required. School fees and domestic logistics are itemized in the quote; international shipping is charged separately. This service is separate from the standard apostille packages.
