Does a Mexican registry have the same rules as a visa office?
Write down the institution, Mexican state if relevant, procedure name and required record format. Ask whether it wants an apostille, who may translate, and whether translation must include the attached certificate. A Florida birth certificate for one process may not have the same checklist as evidence used in a visa appointment.
Which U.S. authority can apostille your record?
Use an eligible certified Florida record for the Florida apostille route. If another U.S. state issued the record, its competent authority normally handles authentication. An FBI report remains federal. For academic records, ask the registrar about preparation and ask the Mexican school or recognition body what documents it actually evaluates.
Which Spanish translation will the Mexican recipient accept?
Ask whether the destination expects a local authorized expert translator or another accepted format. A U.S. translation certificate is not proof of acceptance by every Mexican authority. Keep apostille work, translation, record issuance and delivery as separate quote items. No universal FBI requirement or fixed Mexico processing deadline is asserted here.
Related questions
Does every U.S. birth record need apostille for every Mexican process?
Do not assume so. Ask the specific registry, consulate or authority about its procedure and any exception before ordering.
Can a Florida notary replace the certified birth record?
No. Use the appropriate certified public record; notarizing an ordinary photocopy is not the required Florida route.
Can I organize the U.S. work while in Mexico?
Mail or a service provider may coordinate suitable records after review; verify paper-document requirements and international return shipping.
